| Of course, it has been a while since I set foot in Denton with a Turnip on my shoulder and great hopes for the new promised land. I saw lots of pebbles in a driveway and gave them each individual names. My favourite was Nigel, his Panda Pops bottling factorywas always a joy to behold, especially when you have saucepan jammed onto your head! I have great appreciation for 70s clothing, despite the Happy men. |

| My pet moose used to live in denton. His name was Jack, but he drowned. I told him he couldn't use a rowing boat on his own, but he went anyway, and died. Jack was my only freind. Sure, there was Eric the ferret, and Shiela the duck, but none of them loved me like Jack!I even got him a cake for his 19th birthday, but he died two days before, so I gave it to Jeremy, my pet mink! Weevils rool to, but not like my German socks! Waffles are also good this season, however, none of them taste as good as my pet carrot, Davis. I am so sad he died, he was attacked by rabid dust-mites! They stole my coat, and Davis was in my pocket. Maybe they didn't eat the coat, and Davis the carrot is living free somewhere today! That song "mellow yellow" reminds me of Mister sniffles, my pet giraffe, who wore a jumper in the winter. He is still alive, but has no legs, so is very sad! My two children Mike and Vivian ate his legs in '92! Oh, those were the days! |
